After winning a bid of 2.3 billion yuan for the Singapore Deep Tunnel Sewage System (DTSS) recently, STEC won a big deal of market operation again at the end of the year. On December 8, the announcement of the bid winning list for the first bid of Fuzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 4 was completed, and STEC won the bid successfully, with a total order amount of 4.02 billion yuan. This is also the first order of "Subway General Contracting" of STEC in Fujian Province!
The first phase of Fuzhou urban rail transit line 4 is arranged along the auxiliary axis of Fuzhou's southeast development. the total length of the project is 28.4km, of which the total length of bid 1 contracted by STEC is 9.6km, including "8 Stations and 9 Sections" as well as supporting parking lot and entrance line projects. Of the total investment of nearly 22.8 billion yuan in Line 4, bid 1 is one of the most demanding and technically difficult bids.
The first phase of Fuzhou Metro Line 4 starts from Juyuan Station in Fuzhou Jinshan Industrial Zone to the west and runs through Minjiang River, Jin'an River to Tatou Station. It will pass through various "Soft and Hard" composite soil layers including silt layer, silty sand layer, coarse and medium sand layer, pebble layer and moderately weathered granite layer. The geological situation is extremely complicated. At the same time, the terrain along the tunnel fluctuates greatly, fissures are developed and boulders are widely distributed, and it is necessary to pass through moderately weathered normal porphyry with an average strength of 87 MPa when crossing Minjiang River, and more than 20 pile foundations intrude into the tunnel section when crossing surrounding structures… A large number of construction difficulties require high risk control for the project team of STEC.
In order to successfully complete the construction of the project, STEC organized an experienced project team, and carried out rigorous geological survey and supplementary survey along the project to further master the distribution of extremely soft and hard soil layers and boulders, and worked out a construction plan to tackle the "Difficult Problem" of complex strata
●In view of the "Tofu-like" silt layer with water content above 60 %, it is proposed to ensure the smooth progress of the shield by optimizing the construction parameters and strictly controlling the posture of the shield machine.
●For the "Soft - hard Composite" and high-moisture and high-permeability strata passing through the Minjiang River section, it is proposed to select an advanced "Dual - mode Composite Shield" construction method.
●In order to solve the problem of grooving the underground continuous wall in highly weathered rock and moderately weathered rock with large thickness, a combination of hard rock rotary drilling rig, impact drilling rig and grooving machine is adopted to achieve the goal of grooving with high quality.
The first phase of Fuzhou Metro Line 4 runs through the city's main urban area, connecting Fuzhou's central city with Jinshan area and Nantai Island area divided by Minjiang River and Wulong River. It is a transportation backbone line that promotes Fuzhou's urban construction to "Expand Eastward and Develop Southward" and helps Fuzhou to develop from "A Single Central City" to "A Multi-central City".
According to Fuzhou's traffic plan, Fuzhou is expected to open a subway line every year from 2019; By 2022, the main line network of Fuzhou Metro will be formed. At that time, nearly 40 % of Fuzhou residents will travel mainly by subway.
